Lady Cougars Officially Announce 2006 - 2007 Schedule

I posted the 2006 - 2007 schedule for the Houston Lady Cougars on Sept. 10 (in the original HRR blog):

However, UH officially released the schedule today.

"I think we're going to have one of the toughest schedules in the country," UH head coach Joe Curl said. "Top to bottom, there are no gimmies. I feel it's the kind of schedule we need to play if we are going to continue our progression as a team. It speaks highly of our program that we are playing some of the top teams in the country like Duke, Miami, Michigan State and USC."

"It's a pleasure to be able to schedule home-and-home series with Duke and Michigan State," Curl said. "I applaud their coaching staffs and administrators for wanting to play in Houston."

"You line up and play every game, no matter what," Curl said. "This is a definite RPI schedule. We didn't go out and scheduled wins; we scheduled to make ourselves a better team. The proof will be in the pudding, and we'll find out in March how we did."
