Coop Announces PV's Schedule
A few days ago, Prairie View A&M's head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke announced the 2008 - 2009 schedule for the Lady Panthers' basketball team.
The non-conference schedule includes 12 games against teams from such conferences as the Big East (Rutgers), Big 12 (Iowa State) and the Big Ten (Purdue and Penn State).
The Lady Panthers head to Hawai'i for a three-day Thanksgiving Tournament.
For the second straight season, PV will also face Houston area teams Rice University (Wednesday, November 19) and Houston Baptist University (Saturday, December 6) as part of the non-conference schedule.
Prairie View begins conference (Southwestern Athletic Conference) play Saturday, January 3, on the road versus Alcorn State.
